Moving With Life
To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful. This is power, it is glory on earth and it is yours for the taking.
-- Agnes De Mille
To dance, put your hand on your heart
and listen to the sound of your soul.
-- Eugene Louis Faccuito
A funny word. What does it really mean? How do you practice embodiment?
How do you hold all of your beliefs, ideas, fears and habits in the physical container of your body? The body does not lie, and offers up chapters and chapters of our own stories. Some of these stories are beautiful and keep you open, alive and vital, while other stories keep you locked down in fear, hunched over protecting your heart, or leaning back away from the treachery of daily living. Yes, it's a scary world.
This work of mindful movement, of consciously allowing your own bodily wisdom to transform your consciousness allows you to liberate unhealthy stories and beliefs, and to access a deeper, more meaningful and authentic version of you. A you that is more creative, instinctive and intuitive. More tapped in. Greater presence and greater awareness. To practice embody-ing new beliefs, and attributes is to listen deeply to the truth of what is now, and allow new information to filter through your physical being reshaping how your body holds what you believe.
Explore who you are, where you've come from, and where you're going through specific embodiment practices that will increase your awareness and transform unhealthy energies into vital life force.
This work is for anyone who is in the process of change or desires to live more confidently, and trusting. Check out schedule to discover upcoming workshops, or check out programs to learn more about what we offer.
